Adam and Eve created in the Image and likeness of God lived in the Divine Will until The Fall. If Adam and Eve had not fallen we would all of us be living in Paradise; in the Divine Will. God did not completely reject man by making a place for Himself in the souls of creatures. But life in the Divine Will was closed to creatures!!!
